The R2S air sampler is powered by EMTEK’s V100 control system. It offers a number of convenient and efficient advantages in air microbial sampling, designed to support you in your daily work. It can operate at three different sampling speeds: 28.3, 50 and 100 LPM, ensuring optimal microbial recovery according to regulatory guidelines, simplifying microbial counting and allowing you to calculate the number of microorganisms per volume of air tested quickly and easily. The goal of this air sampler is simple: Provide top results with user-friendly operation.
With the R2S, thanks to the ability to rotate the filter media layer during sampling, you can determine the estimated recovery time of viable bacteria, and you can set the device to provide up to 120 minutes of continuous monitoring per sampling cycle. Thanks to the device’s design, bacterial loss due to drying is minimal — which results in more accurate air quality analysis.
The R2S generates virtually no particulate matter and provides point-of-operation sampling and bacterial recovery. The device is designed to completely disinfect all contact surfaces while requiring minimal calibration and maintenance.Additionally, the device, measuring just 13.5 cm high and 12.5 cm in diameter, can be operated remotely from the V100 controller from a range of over 23 meters, making it a convenient monitoring tool when working in confined and critical spaces. Our R2S gas sampler is designed for use in Class 100/ISO 5 LAF hoods, isolators, filling lines and sterile incubators (BSCs), using standard 90 mm agar plates to reduce the total cost of monitoring.
